Cookie Policy
Last revised: 11 March 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on fernworks.help, operated by FernWorks Education Advisory Sdn. Bhd., and the choices you have about them.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Related technologies — such as browser local storage — perform similar jobs. Together they let a site remember things between pages and visits: your preferences, your session, or how you found the site. In this policy "cookies" covers all of these.
What this site actually uses
Strictly necessary
- PHP session cookie (PHPSESSID) — keeps your visit stitched together and protects the contact form against forged submissions. Expires when you close your browser. The site cannot function safely without it.
- Consent record (fw_cc) — a local-storage entry that remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so we don't ask on every page. Kept until you clear your browser data.
Analytics
If you accept cookies, we may set basic analytics identifiers to understand which pages help visitors and which confuse them. These record aggregate usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type — and never your name or contact details. If you reject cookies, analytics stays off; the site works identically either way.
Your choices
- The banner: on your first visit you can Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. To change your mind later, use the "Cookies" button in the lower-left corner of any page.
- Your browser: every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies per site. Look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the session cookie will prevent the contact form from working.
- Clearing data: deleting your browsing data removes both the consent record and any analytics identifiers, returning the site to its first-visit state.
Third parties
Web fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which may log the technical request (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the font files. No advertising cookies are set by this website.
